Looking for writing tools?

Generative AI is now a thing today, and almost all bloggers are using it either to help them write their first draft or to improve their writing.

You already know ChatGPT, but there are other tools available online, which can make your SEO strategy possible.

Writing blog posts consistently is not easy, and that’s coming from me — a passionate writer.

There comes a time when you will struggle to type even the first word.

You have readers waiting for your updates, and you don’t want to disappoint them, so you will force yourself to write.

Contrary to what many say, publishing every week or every day is not necessarily required in SEO.

Nonetheless, having an active blog has a lot of benefits. Writing tools can help you produce content even when you don’t feel like writing.

5 Writing Tools for Better SEO

I am writing from scratch, without the help of generative AI tools, 98% of the time.

That 1% is for Generative AlexAI, where I publish AI-generated content.

The other 1% is for clients who specifically want AI-generated content, and they want me to edit it.

I use writing tools mostly to improve my writing, and it is especially important given that English is my second language.

Here are the writing tools (which are free btw) that you can incorporate into your process for better SEO:

  1. Google Docs – It is good to have copies of your content in Google Docs because no one knows what will happen to your blog or the internet. Also, it auto-saves your work, so you can write on the go.
  2. Grammarly – Even if English is your first language, you can make mistakes. Grammarly, even the free version, is a great editing app.
  3. Hemingwayapp – If you want to not just edit your work but improve your wording, Hemingwayapp is a better tool for you than Grammarly. You can use both, though.
  4. ChatGPT – There are many generative AI tools like JasperAI available, but they are limited until you pay for the premium version. Good thing, ChatGPT exists. You can ask ChatGPT to do as many tasks as you want.
  5. Bing Chat – ChatGPT uses GPT 3.5 whereas Bing Chat uses GPT 4.0 as of writing, so you may prefer the latter.

The writing tools I mentioned above are perfect for bloggers with a limited budget.

If you have money to spend and would love to use tools with more or better features, you can try Semrush Writing Assistant and Surfer.
